A flexible measuring tape, or a piece of string and a ruler, can be incredibly helpful when following a hat measurement guide for custom cowboy hats. These hat sizing instructions ensure you get the perfect fit.

1. For the perfect fit of your custom cowboy hats, start by placing the measuring tape around your head, just above your ears and across the middle of your forehead—where your hat will naturally sit. 

2. Ensure the tape is comfortably snug; it should feel secure without being too tight. 

3. Refer to this hat measurement guide to read your measurement in centimetres, then enter it on your Custom Hat order form, or use it to follow the hat sizing instructions when selecting a ready-made hat.

If your measurement falls between two sizes, we usually recommend choosing the larger size for a more comfortable fit that can be adjusted using our hat sizing instructions. Most of our custom cowboy hats include an adjustable inner band or can be fitted with sizing foam pads, allowing us to achieve the perfect fit if needed.
